England Cricket's Dreams Turn to Ashes

Haven't been on MyLot for a while. Had various things going on but more recently I've been listening to the cricket on BBC radio. Having won the cricket World Cup a couple of weeks ago I thought I was in for a real treat with the Ashes - England v Australia. However, things went awry somewhere along the line and Australia slaughtered us. It's only the first test match of the series so here's hoping we do better in the next match. So, as England were bowled out the middle of this afternoon I have a little time to spare hence my re-appearance on MyLot. Some of you know that Adam, my other half, has been building a new fish pond and we already have our first occupant but it's not a fish. Adam went to check his pond plants a couple of days ago and found we already have a resident frog! Said froggy is obviously not shy as he hopped onto a waterlily leaf and then onto the wooden ledge surrounding the pond. Adam nipped indoors and grabbed a camera and our little friend was just waiting for his photo shoot. The small green splot on the edge of the pond is a small caterpillar which Adam picked off one of our plants and it seems froggy's quite partial to them!
