I'm Home

And I'm finally eating breakfast at noon.
I was with the trainer for an hour and a half. I went through every machine I could work on. I know how to correctly set up the information for the treadmill, elliptical trainer, and bike. I also know the correct positions for the strength training machines and she's backing me up on reps for the leg curl machine, though the leg press at 80 and the ab crunch at 50 are okay. I'll be working on other machines as well, though not the overhead press. I can't lift the bar even on the lightest setting. It was the only machine I had trouble with. She also told me not to work both cardio and strength on the same day, but alternate.
I also have it all written down on the sheet so I know what I can do on each machine.
After leaving there, I went to GNC to return and exchange the Vitamin D I got on Friday. I was happy to see they were open. I almost didn't find the receipt, but I finally pulled it out of my wallet.
Now, I'm enjoying a breakfast of eggs, potato, and banana. I don't know if I'll have three meals today or not with how late I'm eating breakfast.
I won't be going anywhere else today so I rolled up my windows as we're supposed to get a heavy storm this afternoon and the clouds are starting to roll in for it.
Such was my morning. How is your day going? Thanks for reading. Image courtesy of Pixabay.

Glad you now know which machines to use for what. My day started in the garden.

most delighted yer time with the trainer went so well 'n now y'ave more knowledge 's to how to safely 'ccomplish yer goals to better health. 'tis cloudin' here a bit, the sun hidin' behind such off/on. no calls fer storms, but we'll see by this eve if'n they'd be wrong. could sure use some more moisture :)

@crazyhorseladycx Too uncomfortable for me. It's like that a lot in August around here. So far, it hasn't been bad.

Sounds like a busy morning there! Glad you had a good appointment with the trainer, and went through all the machines and know what to do, reps wise and all.
Hope the rest of your day was a good one.

Any reason why one should not do cardio and strength on the same day?

We are having the second rain shower of the day here which means I won''t get to sit out muchunless it is on the front porch or he patio out back. Sitting here at the kitchen table looking out the sliding glass door watching he shower come down.and just heard a rumble of thunder followed by a warning signal telling golfers across the way that they have to come off the course til the thunder and lightening has passed.

I hope it didn't rain too long and the golfers could finish their course.
Sometimes watching it rain from inside is a good thing.

No gym for me today. I’m enjoying doing nothing.
