Now I have sunflowers on my dining table

While browsing TJMaxx (a department store) I came upon a vase with artificial sunflowers in it. It made me smile and I knew I had to have it. It only cost $16.99 (+tax). I think that's a great deal and unlike real sunflowers it will last forever. I put it in the middle of my dining table. Looks great and it goes well with another artificial sunflower bouquet I have in my living room. I hope that every time I am in a down mood it will cheer me up.
P.S. Have no idea why the image is sideways. It is the right way on my laptop.

Yeah. It's simple but nice. I wish they had put some leaves or greenery in the bouquet. My other one has that though the sunflowers there are with long stems and they have leaves on them.

@LindaOHio Doesn't seem like you can insert anything into the vase.

@lovebuglena I had to have only artificial flowers in my house during the time I was in chemotherapy. Maybe that is the reason why I don´t like them.

@marguicha That could be. Artificial flowers are not all the same though. Some look almost real. Some you can tell right away they are fake or cheap looking.

Of course, I prefer real flowers and from time to time by them, if hubby doesn't gift them to me. But it's nice to always have flowers and with artificial ones that's always the case and saves a lot of money.

I don't have space for a garden in my house.

Yep and it doesn't come with extreme heat like the real sun.

Did you use your phone in taking it? The position of the phone while taking it is the reason why it is sideways.
It's pretty. I'm not really into artificial flowers as I prefer real ones, but this is more convenient because it lasts longer.

@lovebuglena Mylot does it this way when it's in portrait orientation.

I took the picture so it is portrait orientation. The picture was not upside down. It became this way when it uploaded.

Sunflowers are not my favorite flowers but I love them. Daisies and gerbera daisies are my favorite ones.

The pic came out nice but for the life of me have no idea why it uploaded sideways here. It's in portrait orientation so maybe that's not allowed.
I've seen artificial flowers that you can tell right away are not real. With these you can't.

@db20747 Maybe the site is designed to only have landscape photos and why it rotates them if they are portrait.

I agree. That's why I couldn't just leave the store without them. I should probably remove the tags already. Not planning on returning it.
