Inverting my entire name on SOCMED!

Today is the birthday of a niece. Her name suddenly popped out of my notifications on Facebook. Even though her name is inverted (last letter first), I know it is she.
I also did that for the main reason that my students will not make friend requests on FB to me. I often tell them I don’t accept friend requests when they are still studying, but some still know my username.
My Instagram too is inverted. It is long. Even my classmates in high school also find it difficult to search for me.
One of my friends here knows my account name on FB and yes, she knows it is inverted- my first name though.
Having my name so difficult as that may also protect me from hackers. But we do not really know how these hackers ‘play their game’.
Do you have the same username in all your social media accounts?

hello. yes, indeed. socmed sounds like a medicine for psychotics, hahaha!
still, some former students search for my username on FB and try to connect with me.

I do. I have had my facebook since it's beta phase and back then nobody thought of creating a fake name. However, I am not active on facebookk at all and I only keep it because of my relatives abroad who would sometimes send me a message. I check only the messenger once a week and that's all.
My instgarm account however is on private mode. Can I have your instagram please? I would love us to be friends there.

I have to use different usernames as well. But sometimes I get my Facebook blocked cause by some hackers trying to get in.

really? then, i believe you should always change your password, a more difficult one, every now and then. i am just fortunate my soc media accounts have not been hacked, so fat.

the one thing i learned though is having different passwords in other accounts that i have like on Instagram, twitter, Facebook, and even in my ATM cards. i keep them safely in a secured page in a secured notebook here at home

I do use the same name on social media. I want some people I knew from school to find me. But I always look at the account before making them a friend on there.
