She is also a student…

… of MY SON!
The level 4 nursing students that I handled had their graduation rites last June 8, 2019, and now, they are having their intensive review for the Licensure Examination for Nurses this November.
But I had one student who was so hard-headed and is the subject of her classmates as “I O U”. She borrows money and never pays it back, that is why her classmates voice out their grievances to me.
This female graduate has some minor back subjects and since my son was promoted as a college instructor, student A should attend her class to my son; to no avail.
My son would ask me how A was as a student. I told him she is manipulative. He agreed; he said “yes, Ma. I even complained to the program coordinator of the college of nursing and her attention was called. She did not submit her requirements to me, so I gave her an incomplete grade”.
I told my son that most probably, A will not be able to take the Board Exam this November because her transcript of school records have incomplete marks.
I dislike manipulative students. But I have my ways to manipulate them as well.

@ridingbet A teacher must be strict, because students must not be "friends", they need to learn.

I can just imagine how you feel towards her. Why do you think there are students like this? How are they as children to their parents? How's their living condition at home? Why do they have to be so difficult?

i agree with you. it seemed these type of students depend on us their instructors, that they seldom show their interest in pursuing their goals. both parents are working abroad, and she is also married. she should start thinking about her future as a nurse.
i am hoping against hope, but i wish she pass the licensure examination for nurses this November, given the notion that she is not too serious with the review classes.

i attended the Basic Life Support seminar last week from Tuesday to Friday. i saw here, and when i asked her about my son, she said, "nosebleed, Ma'am! your son speaks English fluently and i cannot follow him." she said she has the requirement for him but i told her, her evaluation was already submitted to the dean.

i completely agree with you. she has her own destiny in her hands, not us who were her instructors.

Hopefully she will learn her lesson. I would hate to have a nurse like her.

first things first though, i hope she passes the licensure examination for nurses, then if she were my nurse, she should act like one, a compassionate one.
