Big Fat Check

United States

Some of you may recognize those three words. While I'm sure it's used in other circumstances and other places, today it refers to the rakuten / formerly ebates company. I just qualified for my first big fat check in quite awhile. I bought a VPN (well two actually, but only one through rakuten) and was able to get $4.53 back from it, which put me over the amount needed for a check. In November I'll receive a check for $9.53 which will come in handy. I may try to do some more shopping (for necessities) and let that amount get a little higher. Do you use cashback sites?

You just have to find sites that work well for you. I do about three sites and make about $25.00 a week online.

@infatuatedbby No, that was called the savingscatcher. Savingstar is different. Also, I think savings catcher is still around, but it's a lot different than it used to be.

I used to use Ibotta, but I don't anymore. I've gotten back into using SavingStar though.

I have used ebates (not name now) for years. I have received over $300 in big fat checks. It certainly helps.

I've had ebates / rakuten (the name now) for years, but I've hardly ever used it. Wow $300? That's awesome. My problem is that I don't tend to do much online shopping.

I don't, Husband does. I can get cashback through my bank when using my debit card at certain places though.

I get 1 percent cash back on gas and groceries with my credit card. My debit card just takes $1.00 from checking and puts it into saving when I use it. Ebates / Rakuten is the only online cashback place I use. I just don't shop that much.

yes there are lots for site who give cashback and here in India, most of people use because its clear seen benefits as some company work in lose too. In online shopping they also come home to give things so people love it as they get extra benefits from it. I think met you before in rabadaba.

I usually use my debit card, and you have to for cashback websites. Either debit or credit.

Haven't been on swagbucks in ages, but I've done that before. I've gotten some of the subscription boxes and gotten $25-50 back on it.

Rakuten (you will probably see a lot of commercials on this from now until the holidays) is the best in my opinion. I've had an account for many years but hardly ever used it throughout the years. So this will be my second ever check.

I'm not sure that exists here.

I believe the US and UK can use it, maybe Canada too. I'm not sure about other countries. There are other companies that do cashback though.
