A Non-Busy Day

Today has been very laid back without going to the Y. I had a hair appointment, changed from noon to 11 AM, and needed to get essentials - toilet paper and water. I didn't know where I would get them but opted for Aldi. Which reminds me, they're still in the trunk of my car.
So, now I'm looking my beautiful best. And I don't need anything more for a few days from the grocery store. I'm always hoping today will be the day I open the mailbox and find that letter from Housing for my rent for the next year. It will arrive one of these days, so why not today. We'll see and hope. If so, I can pay September's rent and then start thinking about groceries more than only essentials.
Now to work on a book that I started working on before I left. You all have a great rest of your day. I will see you tomorrow. Was your Wednesday good? Thanks for reading.

ya needed a relaxin' day :) glad ya got'cher hair tended, know such 'lways makes my sweet momma feel better. 't least those items'n yer trunk'll not ruin, eh? the hubs's prone to leavin' schtuff'n the truck that melts. like cheese...can't tell ya how much cheese he's ruined!
sure hope that letter comes soon, hon. do they take 'nto 'ccount that'cher medicare premium might go'p next year, more'n whate'er cost 'f livin' raise ya might get?

@crazyhorseladycx That's less than this year. This year it was 2%.
Yes, it is considering the cost of living also goes up twice that it seems so you're not getting ahead.

I'm sorry you had a bad weather day from Hannah.
We had a tornado here later in the day. Lots of rain. So I know what you were feeling with all that rain.
I've also been through a few typhoons when I lived on Guam, so I know the intensity of a tropical storm.
