Anticipation.

I took this shot in the mid 1980s of Rebel and Sandi.

I met the cataract team today. Lucky me got a ride through my insurance and was picked up by taxi that I didn't have to pay for. After all the tests and eye scans they had to do I met with my doctor, boy is he young, he just turned 30 in June. Well, after blinding me with all them lights that he had me look into I was told I was a good candidate for Cataract surgery. That's the good news. The almost good news is that i am scheduled for surgery on September 4th. Well, it could be worse, right? In the photo is Sandi the brown pup and her mom Rebel. They loved to chase Frisbees.

How would you do without the possibility to drive the car for almost a full month?

@rebelann I remember you already had a serious surgery. This time should be easier.

I'm glad it's scheduled. Soon you will see again. It does seem the older we get the younger the doctors become.

I think that is great news. We're already part way through August. Are you a bit worried about the operation? I hope not. Everyone I know who has had the op has been really pleased with it.

Yeah, I was told that most people get them after age 65. My mom lived 99 years and never once had eye troubles.

Do you have one eye done at a time or both at the same time?
