The coffee maker exploded and it was coffee all over the ceiling

In this picture you can see the ceiling from the kitchen. It's so much coffee on it. My mother makes coffee. She used a coffee maker and it exploded. It was coffee all over the floor and on the ceiling. And she was so lucky that she wasn't near it when this happened. She could have been injured. I saw this explosion. I was far from the coffee maker. I was lucky enough. Did this happen to you?

I am glad no one was injured, but it must have been a big shock anyway. It has never happened to me.

Oh my goodness was she using a "Moka"? May be the valve was defective, or there was not enough water.

@dya80dya Because it is the only coffee machine that can explode, it happened to my sister in law, she forgot the water, the Moka exploded.

We don’t have a coffee maker so we did not experience this. Thank God your Mom was too far when it was exploded.
