It Was a Good Beginning

How many of you watched football last night? I'm talking American football and the first preseason game of the year? Did your team win?
I know everyone can't be winners, but it's nice when your team wins. Last night the Green Bay Packers played the Houston Texans.
Now, I know most of the veterans didn't play because it's to find out who will make the cut for the team in three weeks. Lots of mistakes on both sides as flags flew often. Everyone has a lot to learn yet and that's what preseason shows.
I saw a lot of good talent on the field when they weren't getting penalties. Both rookie quarterbacks have a good long arm as they threw the ball far downfield. It's too bad the receiver didn't get there ahead of the ball.
Anyway, it was a good game, close with a score of 28-26 in favor of the Packers.
Our next game is against the Baltimore Ravens. I'm sure I'll see improvement among the players as the preseason progresses to opening day on Thursday, September 5th against the Chicago Bears on their home field.
Do you see a lot of improvement needed among your rookies? Thanks for reading. Picture mine.

@JohnRoberts Are the Angels still playing or trying to play? I hope they've won a game.

I think my Mom (and maybe my brother-in-law) watched it, but I'm not sure to be honest. She did mention football so she probably tuned in, at least until Big Brother came on.
Congrats to your team! Your next game is against my home team lol.

@just4him I am just glad it is back, I think it is not right for them to black out.

I very rarely watch football or any sporting events for that matter, plus I don't have a normal tv with cable. I get Netflix and older shows only on mine.
My step-granddaughter began playing T-ball last year so I may try to see alone of her games if I'm not working those days.
Glad you enjoyed your game watching.
