So I visited my sister yesterday. My 1.5 hours traveled became almost 3 hours because of the traffic.
When I finally arrived, I went to this small mall called The City Mall. In the entrance, the milktea shop/stall greeted me, "hello". I said, "later, I will go to the John".
So I got 1 large of the classic ( discussion on my previous)
On my way to my sister's house, milktea shops are everywhere. The names are hilarious.
Philosotea
AffiniTea
SocieTea
I love Milktea
And other like:
Tea Avenue
And simple as:
The Milktea Shop
There are others that I forgot the names but they are everywhere. People in that town are crazy.
I think milktea is invading thr entire country now not to mention that years ago there was a report about one or two people deaths because of milktea. However, that killing was planned according to the reporters.

I think some places do go crazy with what is popular. Like CDB oil sales people here, one every other door.

It reminds me of foods that becomes a craze and every corner you can find "litsong"roasted chicken; hot pandesal or malunggay pandesal; etc. One businessman copying the idea of another so there's so much of the same product everywhere that leads to the business' downfall.

@jobelbojel so true; one competes so many others who do the same business; it's "gaya-gaya" (imitation) syndrome!

I noticed that too that Milk Tea is gaining popularity and appeal to many young and old but most especially to the younger generation. I think it has become popular since coffee is mostly for adult people and children are not encourage to drink it but milk tea can be enjoyed by children that is why it is more appealing to them.
