Today is laundry day. Which is why I haven't been here since early morning. I've also been working on a world map project for the New Horizons series. I'm getting close to what I want.
While I was at my son's, I met his next-door neighbor who has lots of veggie plants in containers. She told me she also has a plot in the community garden. She shared with me some cherry tomatoes, which I'm eating at the moment. They're better than candy. 
One gigantic zucchini, and three cucumbers, also large.
There is nothing better than garden vegetables. They beat store-bought any day of the week.
I'm going to get to work on the notifications and post the health report a bit later. How is your Saturday going? Doing anything exciting? Thanks for reading.

@velvet53 I've changed it and still changing it more. Yesterday, I finally figured out how to make it exactly as I want it. Now, I need the time to get it drawn out Pangea style. Once I have that, I'll cut it apart and I'll have the map the way I want it.

I love fresh vegetables from the garden. Enjoy those cherry tomatoes their the best! I spent saturday being lazy and not doing much just watched movies most of the day. I was tired as Friday night got to bed at 330am and slept in until 1230pm but still felt groggy all day long.

@just4him Yes it was a much better day. I was still tired but not as bad as I was on Saturday. I got outside and did some bowling etc and hung out with friends/boyfriend.

'tis wonderful ya met that neighbor 'n she 'twas kind 'nough to share some 'f the bounty. since 'tis a community garden, i'm wonderin' if'n ya could 'nquire how to become a part 'f such?? nothin' beats home grown fer taste 'n quality. such'd help with the food bill, too.
startin' to cloud'p here 'gain. hopin' such'll produce rain, but've not been that fortunate outside 'f a couple sprinkles thus far.

@just4him perhaps ya could volunteer fer the weedin'/waterin' part? not certain how the one there works. 'd sure be worth askin' though. ya could add the work to calories burnt, keep a lil change'n yer pocketbook 'n 'njoy much healthier foods.

I've thought about it. With my black, not green thumb, I would most likely be the only one without anything growing.

You are so right about garden grown veggies being so much tastier than anything we can buy in a store. I love popping cherry tomatoes instead of candy too. YUM!!

@just4him my daughter went to a barbecue over the weekend and came home with a bowl of fresh garden cherry tomatoes. Oh so delicious!! Having anything fresh from the garden just makes anything you buy disappointing.

They were soooooooo good. I never had store-bought veggies until I left home. My parents always had a garden. I can tell you I was disappointed by the taste of everything. The one thing that surprised me most was the pickles and canned tomatoes. I really expected them to taste like Mom's canned tomatoes and pickles. I almost never bought another can of either.

I'm thinking about making up the zucchini today. It must be two feet long. Maybe I should consider zucchini bread. I've never made it and wonder if I can use almond flour for it. I'll look.
