RIP Flat Screen TV

You became mine after Rowland passed away and you've provided entertainment well during that time, but now you're gone after first losing your speakers, then losing the video and finally the audio through the headphone jack all in a week. You fought until the end, just like your first owner did.
I'm not sure how we should part ways; whether you should be trashed or offered to a scrapper, but I'll figure something out. In the meantime, we have a replacement waiting to be installed....one of those "smart" TVs. But I'll miss you. Watching you kept Rowland on my mind.
I still wonder, though, if that electrical storm that knocked you out a couple weeks back might have contributed to your demise.

The storm may have been the final straw with your flat screen television bidding you a farewell.

@jerzgirl Storms do affect electrical devices to the point that they die out.

it seems like newer tv's and monitors don't last even half as long as the older fat-backed tv's did..but yea i wouldn't doubt the storm did damage.

Electric storms do a lot of harm in all appliances. Some time ago I had and electricity problem and I ran to unplug everything before I called the company.
