I made it back from the cabin in Montana this morning at 2 AM. I still haven't checked the distance from Idaho Falls to Walnut Creek, but I think I drove about 800 miles yesterday.
I'll have stories to tell, but I have to rush off and play softball right now. There is the work on the cabin, the beauty of Montana and its people, the rescuing of two horses from Highway 20 in Montana, the car crash I was in, and seeing old friends.
I still haven't unpacked, and have to play softball right now. I'll write more later. Did I miss anything important in the last couple of weeks (here or in the real world)? I haven't even been following the news. I was truly "off the grid."
I look forward to chatting with everyone.

So that's why I haven't seen you here mylotting for a while. Car crash...hope you're alright and it was very minimal. Off the grid? I couldn't do that. I need my phone, stove, refrigerator, tv and library computer. Glad you're back!

@1creekgirl It was scary when I felt the impact. But once I knew everyone was OK, it became just another story.

Being off the grid is probably the better reality.
