Searching for old friends

I have come back to Mylot after one of my lengthy periods away from the site so I have been searching for old friends. Some are still here and some have gone. I guess that's the name of the game.
I'm so pleased to reconnect with people from my past. Sometimes a break can make you appreciate people more.
I wonder how long I will stay this time? That's the beauty of this site, you can just pick up where you left off with no questions asked.

I'm glad you were able to reconnect with some old friends on here! One of the reasons I never change my picture on here is because I used it on Bubblews, so I keep it the same in case old friends/acquaintances from Bubblews want to re-connect.:)

That's a good idea. I change mine a lot and although I had a picture of me up on Bubblews I have changed it quite a few times since.

@tammys85 That's true. There are a few people here that I know but most of them recognise me by name. On some sites I don't want to be recognised. It depends what sort of site it is.

I seem to be making lots of new friends too which is nice. I can see some of my old friends have now gone but they may be like me and pop up again from time to time

welcome back :) i took quite a bit 'f time 'way from here (the net 'ntirely actually) 'n found the same. most 'f the folks who were dear to me hear 're no longer active. sadly some've passed'n, i feel guilt fer such but cannot be undone.
i've been slow to add new folks here 's i get quite 'ttached.

There was a lady here who left last time I was here. She had stage 4 cancer but I can't remember her name. Do you know who I mean because I think you were here at the time?

@sprite1950 i feel fer ya, hon. jest dunno who that'd be? i've been a member here fer sometime, but many dislike my style 'f dribblin', so's i steer clear 'f 'em best i can.
so many've suffered with cancer 'n other diseases, 'tis jest heartbreakin'. to know she 'twas finalisin' schtuff sure don't sound good.

That is the good thing about this site though. You can rejoin any time you like and they don't take any money off you for being absent like some sites.

I'm one of these people who gets bored quickly. I would probably do better to come here every few days or just give myself a short break when I feel the boredom coming on.
