The Dude Chilling in the Mint

One of my cats, the Dude, loves the mint I have growing in the screen room. Brendel likes it as well, but apparently not as much as the Dude.
I was sitting at my computer yesterday and looked out the window and laughed out loud. The Dude was laying in the mint container.
The photo is not very clear as I snapped it through the window pane. But maybe you get the idea. I added two photos together. One showing him laying in the mint. The other shows how flat the mint is when he finally gets out.
I added water and the sunshine will make the mint perk back up. In fact this morning it looks as good as new.
He usually walks by and just gets a bite of the mint. For whatever reason he decided to lay in the container and went to sleep. Since he does not go outside I guess this was his idea of laying in the grass. A funny cat for sure. Keeps me entertained.

Sharing a smile with you all. Have a great day and week. Plans anyone?

critters do some odd thingies to's humans. they've their own lil quirks, likes 'n dislikes :) perhaps mr. dude jest wished to feel the coolness 'f the soil 'n fill his senses with the aroma 'f mint? i've a feral cat, siamese, that likes to chew'n my lemongrass. others're prone to layin' out'n the parsley. don't reckon such's coz they miss grass. i've green grass'n my sanctuary :)

@CarolDM i dunno why black cats 've such a hard time?? i know years 'go, all the eldest son wanted fer Christmas 'twas a black kitten. we'd tons 'f cats with kittens 't the time - not a single black'n the bunch. the pound 't not one either. i put out word to all i knew, all to no avail. finally 'd to buy one from the pet store...
i bring'n the resident cat grasses from time to time. prolly ought'a jest plant her some 'ndoors. helps their digestion :)

Mint is supposed to help keep fleas away too.

@CarolDM I have it planted in a few spots outside for the cats to roll in. It does seem to help.

Oh that is absolutely adorable. I wonder if they like the cooling of the mint or something, either way it is adorable.

He is enjoying his break in the mint. Nico likes catnip. I haven't tried mint here.

A long time ago, I had a cat who loved to lie in a pot.
