I broke my eye glass frames.

That is, I broke the frame last night.
I fell asleep with the glasses on, woke up in a hurry for the bathroom and placed my elbow exactly over the glasses
. End of the game.
So today, as I´m going out to have lunch at Alejandra´s and then go out for a walk, I´ll take the glasses to see if they can change the frame. It will be a mayor amount of money, but it can´t be helped. And from now on, TV and glasses will be off BEFORE I fall asleep
Besides that, the day is sunny and I will not cry over spilled milk. Good morning, dear friends.

That's sad, Sometimes I also doze off to sleep with my glasses on, my glasses frame is actually a repaired one as I sometimes make my eyeglasses my headband.so it loosened up and I have to have it welded.

I do the same. I´m taking the pieces to see what can be done. The glasses are perfect and new.

oh no! i'm glad ya didn't damage yer lenses, too. i get wire frames jest fer that reason. well, not 'ntirely 's i don't fall 'sleep with mine, but i'm quite the clutz :) hope the rest 'f yer day goes well.

@marguicha i reckon such depends'n the frames ya get? i got the frames fer mine'n sale fer $45, but the lenses?? 'nother $270. progressive lenses 're like buyin' chunks 'f gold...

Sorry to hear that. In fact I don't often wear glasses even if I am near-sighted. I wear them when it is necessary. This is why my glasses can be kept so long time. But in fact the main reason I don't want to wear my glasses often is that I don't want to depend on my glasses so much. If I get used to it all the time, it will make everything inconvenient if one day I don't have my glasses.
