So, I served kitty a type of grub he never had before. The flavors were turkey and duck I think. Boy did he love that! It was a small can, but I think he ate most of it in one setting. That is really unusual for him. Normally, he just picks at wet food. He is a dry food guy..but apparently he thought this grub was especially yummy. I will have to see if I can find it again. What flavor of food does your pet like the best?

I don't have any pets.. Once had a cat that was getting picky in her old age. She only liked one type of wet cat fod, and of course that's the exact kind that they discontinued at the stores. It was store brand too. She eventually got used to another, but it took awhile.

Nico is hardly more than a kitten..but he has always preferred dry food.

@snowy22315 I've always wondered if it was texture thing with animals. Do they prefer one over the other because they don't like the texture? I guess we'll never know.

Nico has never had duck..He usually has salmon, chicken or beef.

my crew seems to rotate.they'll like something for awhile,then next week they declare "ickies" on it.

Dry dog food is OK, but if you can afford it, you might want to try grain free. My dog eventually developed an allergy to corn and wheat.

@db20747 No, the guy who comes to visit sometimes..basically likes plain food so our tastes are very different. He does like spaghetti though.

It is good for them to have both types. I no longer have a cat. When I did she preferred chicken and turkey. Sea food flavors made her throw up.

Nico would happily eat treats in place of regular food, but don't think that is very healthy most have lots of salt.

Nico does not prefer pate, but he ate up that duck..it was also in his preferred type..meaty chunks.
