I saw the movie today " Mission Mangal" which is based on true incidents about satellite launch to Mars handled by ISRO. The movie was a perfect Independence Day treat with lot of feel good and patriotic moments and it also tried to show much hard work the space scientists need to put in for making any challenging project special. Akshay Kumar was brilliant as always and all supporting cast like Vidya Balan, Tapsee Pannu and Nithya Menon did full justice to whatever roles they had. Overall a nice movie for Independence day weekend.

We were not lucky with tickets today. Actually we had an eye appointment for my elder daughter. She got it done on Monday but doctor called her again today to confirm the increase in power. We were not sure that if she will get her pupils dilated. But doctor didn't put the drop and so we tried to get tickets late. Now I am planning to take it for Saturday afternoon. My daughters want to join us.

Well..I hope your daughter is doing fine on eyes treatment. Even we did not get tickets in PVR or Inox due to high advance bookings. We finally went for one one of the local multiplex where we got ticket under current booking.

@arunima25 Good that you tickets now in advance. I think movie is doing good a t box office. But honestly, all my feel good factor of Mission Mangal has been washed away after I completed Sacred Games 2 yesterday night. Its like now mind has wandered into a strange zone and Mars is lost in sacred games world.

@avi256 My daughter needs change of glasses. A slight increase in power that is normal for growing up. Rest is fine. We got tickets for Saturday evening.

I hope this movie shows up in the U.S. on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Do Bollywood films make it to Fandango, and Vudo?
