The 2nd Amendment & Being Branded A "Right Wing Nut"

As some know, I am a staunch defender of 2nd Amendment rights for Americans, and I always will be. I've always found it funny that even the most hard-line anti-2A individual, when they call police for help, they expect that police will show up ARMED. It kind of shows their double mindedness on the firearms/weapons topic. I follow some 2nd Amendment defense/advocacy groups on Facebook. I follow them for firearms news, 2nd Amendment news and commentary, etc. To some people though, that in itself is enough for them to brand me (and others like me) "right wing nuts".
