My bedroom has termites!

A couple weeks ago as I was cleaning my closet, I saw a small dirt pile and it confused me as I know I didn't do anything to put that there. I showed my dad and he knew straight away that it was due to termites. I know what termites are but I have never seen the type of mess they make. We just weren't sure if they were still around though so we reported it to the woman who did our rent inspection last week. To which she contacted somebody to come out to have a look.
Over the weekend as I was vacuuming, a piece of carpet lifted up easily in the corner of my room. That had never happened before so I had a little look and I could see that the wood pieces that was under there before was all gone. Before my dad left for work this morning I showed him but he lifted up a bit more carpet than I did. But this time we actually did find some live termites. 
A few hours later a pest control dude came to have a look and he pulled up all the corners in my room to which he found a lot of termites just walking around. I had no idea they were even under there eating away. Only a little bit of the hallway is affected but other than that my room is the only room in the house which has the little buggers under the carpet. I am so annoyed as I love my room to be very clean. Though it is a good thing it's just one room and nothing more. I just can't wait for them to be gone. The dude said he would come back soon to take care of them. Damn termites!

You better take them away before it's too.late. termites could destroy the whole house if they are not controlled. Do it now. Don't wait for tomorrow.

Termites as well as other pests quietly come into your home without you knowing, so it's not you. They usually appear during hot and humid times like summer. I had a termite problem in my closet door and let my landlord office know. The handyman came out right away to inspect and it wasn't too big of a problem so he cleaned it up and put some kind of chemical and the problem was solved. Here in Hawaii we got termites. I understand termites don't like citrus oil for an exterminator. But we who rent just have to report it to the landlord office and done.

@oahuwriter That's weird because it's Winter here and has been freezing cold. So I don't know but thank you for the link. Pest Control has already come out to see what he can do. He will be checking it all out again in about 2 weeks.

Me too...some years are worst than others too I've noticed. These as other insects are very quiet to destroy the very floors we walk on. Luckily you saw them and got action right away for them.
