1902 - The Cadillac Motor Company is founded.
2007 - The Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 30-3, scoring the most runs by a team in modern Major League Baseball history.
1920 - Ray Bradbury was born. He was an American author and screenwriter. His genres included fantasy, science fiction, horror and mystery fiction. His most famous books are Fahrenheit 451, The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man. He also wrote and consulted on screenplays and television scripts. He received many awards including a 2007 Pulitzer Citation. He died in 2012.
1939 - Valerie Harper was born. She is an American actress. Her most famous roles were Rhoda Morgenstern on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Rhoda on the spin-off show Rhoda in the 1970s. Featured below is an interview on the Rosie O'Donnell show with Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper in 2000.

@LindaOHio The book really nails the relationship between the boy and his father and the father's sad reflection on how fast time flies.

I didn't realize it was Tooth Fairy day, but that explains why there was an article online about the history of the Tooth Fairy. It was a pretty interesting read. I always enjoy learning how things like that get started.
