We Caught a Break

The first estimate has come in for repairs to the house. This one is from one of the roofers. The roof is in such bad shape that we thought the estimate would be five figures. However, the roofer said he took a look and half of the roof is in good shape; and he doesn't have to do anything with it. The only addition to the estimate would be if the boards underneath are rotted (there's a good chance of that). So, I'm just waiting to hear back from the other three roofers to see what their bid is.
We caught a break!
