My Thoughts On Alleged "Hauntings"

I do not believe in hauntings, but I have heard a whole bundle of ghost stories for as long as I can remember. Some people have wild imaginations, and some people (like my paternal grandfather was) are prone to actual delusion. I chalk MOST stories of supposed real life hauntings up to these two things. I chalk the rest up to simple misidentified natural phenomena. For example, there is a story about the Marfa lights, in the west Texas town of Marfa. For years people have claimed they were "ghost lights", but I think they are just natural energy that people read WAY too much into.

Ghosts exist I lived in a house that had ghosts. I saw them and talked to them.

Why did you talk to them? Did they talk back?

I've never had the experience; but as far as I know from my own personal experience, I've never encountered a ghost!

I don't believe I have met a ghost and yet I have gone places where the temperature made a drastic change and I felt uncomfortable.

You make some great points. I don't know what the answer is, and I do believe our spirits leave our body and go, well somewhere!
