Watttt!!!! I lost 5 lbs overnight???

I took this shot of Mykey when he was young, I don't remember the year because I used 35mm film which doesn't show a date stamp

About 2 weeks ago I ordered a scale through my insurance at no cost to me. It looks spiffy and even talks but here's the problem. I've weighed anything between 199 to 193. A few days ago I weighed 195.2 in the morning and 197.1 at bedtime. Yesterday I weighed 198.7 in the morning and 197.2 at bedtime. This morning I weighted 193.1. Maybe I should chock this up to freebees not bein reliable. Dangit all, I so wanted to lose 5 lbs. Now I'll be checking the price of a good reliable scale, any suggestions?

Our weight can vary from day to day, depending upon how much liquid we've consumed and how much water, our body is retaining. This isn't bad, it's how our system is geared to work. My weight changes also, especially if I haven't been drinking enough liquids.

Hmmm, I usually drink at least 2 liters of water a day. Then overnight I do tend to get up at least once to pee. So I need to pee more?

Mine sure does @kobesbuddy I've only been to one doctor other than eye doctors and he seemed to think I should lose at least 10 pounds, I haven't been back to see him cuz he's not on my doctors listings with my insurance.

I never weigh myself everyday. I do it maybe every 2 weeks.

This scale does not sound reliable at all. I have an "old" non electronic and not speaking that is very precise.

I'm thinking of getting something like that, I haven't researched all my options yet.

My son recently got one for us. I'll ask him what brand it is.

Weight varies so much between morning and night. We love our Weight Watchers scales. They are as accurate as the scales at the doctor's office.

Hmmm, now I'm curious, do I have to join weight watchers to get one?

Try weighing yourself only in the morning for a week. If the scale numbers continue to be way off check it on a friends scale to see what it reads. Water weight gain/loss can give you slight variations in the readings.

Thanks and I really do wish I had lost that much overnight but it sounds a little like the scale I have may be faulty.

My weight goes up and down quite a lot from morning to night too. I'm not sure why.

Then maybe it's normal. At least the scale hasn't told me I weight 200 pounds, that is a relief.
