How Fast Can You Type?

Once i learned in about 3rd grade where to put my fingers on the computer keyboard, I taught myself the rest. Now I type pretty accurately at about 120 words per minute on a computer, or typewriter. Unfortunately I am not quite so accurate on an iPhone, especially with autocorrect (I call it autocorrupt) messing me up. LOL I need to remind myself when I'm on my phone, that I'm not on my computer. LOL So, how fast can you type? Did you teach yourself, or take a class? I took a class in high school just because I knew it would be an easy credit.

I took typing in grade 9. The best student was the boy with the broken arm... probably because he got to use the one electric typewriter while the rest of the class used manuals.

You type fast. I don't know how fast I can type because I haven't checked it yet. I think my speed is OK. Of course I can't compare to a typist, but I get used to chat by typing words. So I think the speed is fine.
