National Banana split day!

Well today is National Banana Split day. It was invited in 1904 by David Stickler. It use to also coast 10 cents now that is an awesome deal they don’t make banana splits for that prices any more.
For me I’m not a banana split person so you won’t be seeing me getting one any time soon. If your a banana split love and wanting a treat today then go for it. It’s a good reason.

Won’t know till you try it. It’s not bad but it’s not something I enjoy either.

Even when they are green I do not like them @ShyBear88 they have a sweet flavor that I do not like.

Only when they are ripe if you get them when they are green and eat them they are not not sweet. Everyone is different in how they like them. I like my yellow with a few black spots.

It's been a very long time since I've had a banana split. I think the last time I remember having one was several years ago at Disney World.

@ShyBear88 I'm lactose intolerant, so I don't eat ice cream if I can avoid it. But I remember that day at Disney, it was hot as hell outside, and it was the end of the day, and I wanted something cold and refreshing. So a banana split it was. I knew I would pay for it later, but like I said it was the end of the day and I knew I would be safe until at least I got back home to my hotel room.

@moffittjc you know they do make diary free ice cream .’y three eat it from time to time and like the SOS ones especially the ice cream sandwich of course those ones as not gluten free so the littlest can’t eat it, but he has more options of ice cream in dairy free.

I never knew there is such a day for that, well we had ice cream in the afternoon and during dinner we had banana, but they were taken separately lol,

Long ago and far away, for a party, I made banana splits by placing half a banana upright between two round scoops of ice cream and drizzling honey over the banana...
