Something I Find Just Too Funny

People often see something posted as news on Facebook or some other social media, and it makes someone they dislike look stupid or whatever, so in a fit of emotion (and often without fact checking) they re-share it. Later, they find out is was nonsense, and THEY look foolish. By the way, I've seen people on ALL sides of the political aisle do this. The funny thing is, fact checking is easier in this day & age than it's EVER been, but some people it seems just can't be bothered to do it.

I've also seen people quickly pop in with the actual facts. Like, someone will post something that (to most) is obviously fake / untrue, and someone else will pop in with a link to the truth. Sometimes the people popping in with said link do it in a "In your face" type of mindset.

@jnrdutton You are right. I have seen so many tell part of what happens and do not wait to tell the truth or what the truth really is. They need to get a story out any story and that is not right. They do not think or care of others who suffer from what they write and so people believe them before knowing the truth.

There's a lot of political news out there that just isn't true. I just try and avoid it.
