The American Girl doll. Personally, I believe a conspiracy to separate me from the money i was working hard for. The dolls each came with a book and a mortgage payment. But our daughter loved them (she still has them today, stored in the attic safely). Visiting the American Girl Doll store in Chicago Illinois was always fun. (picture is from inside the store). Did you ever buy one, see one or have one? (American Girl Doll)?

I have never seen (or heard) about those dolls. My mother collected porcelain dolls, she had some really nice.

@DocAndersen All what my mother left in her apartment was in Italy. I had to cross a border and it would have been so complicated to fill forms with a list of what I had inherited and I wanted to bring here. I am no more young, she can sell the dolls if she likes. I only kept an old one that I liked.

That is one proud and happy little girl! I see that her t-shirt matches her dolly's top! Wow!

I’ve bought my granddaughter many American Girl dolls and all kinds of furniture. She also had an AG birthday party a few years ago at the NYC store. I happened to see the one in Chicago. Adorable photo!

No, I haven't heard of these. Your daughter and the doll are colour-coordinated.
