It's been a long time now I've been warning friends about the Revelation happening in our midst. Still, with the disasters and calamities man-made and natural, the diseases, the annihilation of races, political power play, etcetera, the preoccupation with the self and one's worth remains the tall order of the day. Till Amazon started burning. One friend did sound the alarm that this is a doomsday scenario. Apocalyptic in every sense of the word. Here's what CNN has to say.
'We're in the midst of an environmental catastrophe'

There will be news of catastrophes here and there but no one can tell if it is really the time

Science and technology has provided us tools for understanding. Revelation has been deciphered. The signs have appeared in the heavens. Sad to say, man regards the cosmic shows spectacular phenomenons rather than signs of what is to come.

@eileenleyva We should always be on watch of the latest happenings in the world and if the end of times is really near. We need to prepare

@averygirl72 Apocalypse will be seen in the heavens, same scene regardless where anyone is standing. The time to prepare is now. When it comes, it will be like a thief in the night,

Amazon is the lung of this planet. And this fire has been an outcome of all the negligence that we have shown for our environment. Sadly the wake up call comes pretty late and I am still not sure if it has come. I often feel that we inherited a beautiful planet but what we are leaving behind for our children is in fact a doomed scenario.

@eileenleyva It's not only the guilty who will suffer. Entire humanity will face the consequences. Bhutan is a carbon neutral or rather carbon negative country. It has zero contribution in Global warming. But it's suffering due to other countries. The glacier have started melting there. These glacier are melting and releasing more and more viruses that were trapped there since ages.

I pray the Rosary as often as I can, begging mercy and for the repentance of sin. Our Blessed Mother is suffering with us. Her Son is angry with us. We must pray more and more.

I think we should take proper care of our environment. Otherwise the coming days will destroy the earth very soon.

With the Amazon burned, doom has finally come. Very soon, the waters will subdue the earth and man will drown. The carbon dioxide will poison us, too. That's a negative view but that's reality now.

Yes, it takes each and every one of us to do our part in preserving what is left of our Earth.Do away with plastic and styrofoam, aluminum foil and the like. Try to be modest in our way of life. Walk or bike instead of using cars and motorcycles. Less fuel used the better. The Amazon Rainforest, if rumors are true, are due to man's greed, searching for oil. Sigh.

Well we just have to wait for it to happen perhaps. We are the ones doing this things that destroys our world. I am saddened if that would happen but we cannot do anything about that anymore. I am just doing my thing in this world if this is indeed the end then so be it and Let HIM do what is right.
