Post Authority employees rescue a lost kitten

In the amazing world of kittens who get lost in New York City comes this strange story where a kitten was trapped in a catwalk inside the Lincoln Tunnel on Wednesday. Two employees of the Port Authority answered the call for help from a driver who saw a small black kitten that was scared of being inside the tunnel near the Manhattan exit. After the kitten was rescued by the two Port Authority employees, the kitten was taken to a local Port Authority building inside of a box to be fed and given a drink. The kitten was then taken to the New Jersey Humane Society to be given one week of medical exams before the kitten who is given the name after former U S President Abe Lincoln will be placed up for adoption. How the stray cat got into the Lincoln Tunnel is a mystery other that the cat must have had a bad case of being curious of entering a tunnel.
