Just came back from the hospital....

I just got back home from seeing my dad. It is 9pm here. I had very little sleep yesterday night mainly due to worrying about my dad's surgery today so I am very tired. Will post this, have a shower and something to eat and might go to bed or watch a movie while MyLotting. My goodness I am rambling.
Anyway, my dad, who is very tired and I think still drugged 
I'm not laughing in a mean way. I think it's one of those "You had to be there" type of things. He was just being funny making me and his girlfriend laugh. So that was a good thing as it shows he is handling this well.
The only surgery that took place was having the tip of one toe amputated. The one that was starting to go black. The surgeon did not do anything about that other infected toe. I don't know why and neither does my dad really. My dad isn't totally sure but he feels like his surgeon told him that eventually all his toes might go but my dad isn't really certain as this was being told to him while he was being sedated. I hope my dad misheard but in about 2 weeks he will see his surgeon again to discuss all that.
A nurse actually said he could come back home tomorrow but we shall see. Last time that was said, my dad was there for 4 weeks so.... We will just see.
Thank you for reading and like always, I appreciate those who have been so supportive during this time. I really hope you understand how much I appreciate it.

oh my. I didn't know this awful thing was happening with your dad. I pray he will be better after this. Is it diabetes he has causing it? or an injury he took. ?

@bunnybon7 It was sort of that. It's mainly due to him having that White Coat Syndrome. He gets anxious around doctors so he thought he would leave it hoping it will get better on it's own without going to a doctor.

@Daljinder oh dudette! I can hardly breathe. I was just typing a new post to explain why I haven't really been on much today. My dear brother has given me his cold. So at that early stage of having trouble breathing with runny nose and headache and various aches.
I can't remember if I said that in my Facebook message to you.

Yeah I have only been taking Panadol. Do you have that there? Is this a dumb question? It's for headaches, period pain, fevers, etc etc and can be used to cold's to help keep fever's down and whatever else. That's all I have been having sort of. Luckily it's just a head cold. I do have Strepsils for my throat. And having lots of green tea. 
And random things to help aches around my face and throat.

@VivaLaDani13 No you didn't tell me that there. I am simulataneously checking myLot and facebook. I might answer somethings here and some there. Did you take anything for cold? And try not give it to your Dad. Tell your brother to not touch stuff without washing hands and stuff. You know regular things.

I hope he misheard too. Good to know he is handling it well. Don't worry he will be back as the nurse says by tomorrow and hopefully there be no need to fix the other toe and it will be cured on its own

Take care of yourself. Maybe watching a movie will help you. It sounds like he is handling it well. That is good and hope no more surgeries for him. I wonder why he is going to leave the infected toe alone. I hope the surgeon will give him better news. Dani, I know you appreciate all of us being there for you. Take care.

@Hannihar Thank you so much! I am not certain why he left it there but I'm sure he will explain the reason next time he sees him. Right now I am watching a movie called World War Z. I had always known about it but had never watched it. I am enjoying it so far.
