Playing instruments

As I have played the guitar ever since I was 12 years old I just now started taking music class this year (2019) and I am 18 years old. Learning how to play a guitar with a teacher in the room is fun but at the same time it can be hard cause you have to understand what they are teaching you and showing you. As I am learning up to the 3rd string to the guitar it is fun but can be difficult. I have been practicing to play the guitar for almost a year now. Not only do I play the guitar but I also play other instruments I play piano and a violin. I got started playing violin by my mom. My dad use to play the saxophone before he passed away. But even as wanting to play the saxophone when i was younger my mom only let me play the guitar as she would say 'playing that much instruments would be to much'. I got playing the piano from my great grandma. As I was younger I would hear stories about how she use to play the Organ. Organ is something like a piano. As I love to hear the sound of a Organ I can mostly play the piano. So as you may tell my family is mostly music family as both of my parents had played instruments as well with my great grandma. Hope you guys enjoy this discussion as I upload more.

We are also musical family. We all sing. My daughters play and sing. Elder one has learnt keyboard and guitar on her own and can play it well. Younger one plays keyboard, piano and recorder. She is also a vocal singer. She goes for vocal and piano classes. She learnt recorder in her Waldrof school.

@nichole01art Yes. They liked music from the very beginning and showed an inclination. I just let them follow it. I am a big time music lover. Now they are 15 and 12 and doing well. Younger one showed interest in learning through classes and writing exams. So I enrolled her for one. Elder one is more for hobby and does not want to go for classes. So I am fine with it.

i started taking piano classes when i was 8 years old and later i graduated form musical high school. i always thought that piano is the easiest to learn how to play, but it can be difficult when you're playing difficult compositions.
