My dad just came home!!!!

Last night a nurse at the hospital did say that my dad could come back home today but with no offence to her, I just didn't take it to heart because like I said in my previous post, the last time my dad was told that, he was there for 4 weeks. So I didn't want to get my hopes up.
I am not sure if any more surgery is in store for my dad. I hope not. But you never know. My dad seems fine. Just limping a little bit but that's to be expected. Right now he is laying in bed with his girlfriend and they are giggling a lot so 
that's good. He seems happy still.
Not really much else to say right now. 
I'm happy he is home.
Other than that, I'm just exhausted. Very little sleep past two nights. Just going to be super lazy today.

@LadyDuck Thank you so very much. I am glad that he is accepting and seems to be in good spirits. When this very first started he was still handling well, but could just tell he was a bit down with it all.

I’m so thankful!! I know he probably is, too. When you don’t feel well the only two things you want to do is eat and sleep, and what are the two things you can NEVER get in a hospital? Food and rest! You get some rest, too!! Lots of people don’t seem to remember how physically and emotionally draining a love one’s illnesses or injuries are to the family!

@FourWalls You are exactly right! Thankfully he got food. He has to eat otherwise his sugar will go low. But he didn't sleep as I know it's hard to sleep there with all the interruptions.
