No golf today at Mar-a-Lago

A massive category 5 hurricane is bearing down on Florida, with Donald Trump's favourite Mar-a-Lago resort right in its path. When it's all over it will be very interesting to see if his comments about clearing up the mess are anything like the indifference he showed to the citizens of Puerto Rico when something similar happened to them almost exactly a year ago.

As long as Mar al Lago will be ready again for next weekend it is ok. Anyway if Dorian destroys the USA; he can still take Air Force 1 and play in one of his golfs elsewhere. The problem with Puerto Rico is that he has no golf in the island.

But surely a hurricane is a golden opportunity to build a new course? Lots of troublesome peasants' huts blown out of the way and plenty of bunkers and water hazards created by debris slamming into the countryside!

@indexer That's true, as long as the water hazards do not recover the islands forever. He has a better project in Greenland.

@indexer Oh my goodness, I missed that one, what a wonderful idea, no damages from the hurricane... but what about the damages caused by the atomic bomb? He should try at the golf course when only he alone is there.

It was only a few days ago that Donald suggested that the way to divert a hurricane was to drop an atomic bomb on to it - and I'm not joking! Now here's the ideal opportunity for him to test this theory in a real situation!
