They really need another huge renovation on the roof because I found it leaking again. It got so bad that it reached the outlet that's already and the light was still on. When I touch it electrocuted me! I remove the bulb and sealed the switch so no one can touch it. I really hope the rainy season would end soon because we continuously have problem in this kitchen. Once this is fix I'm thinking of putting a long fluorescent lamp so it would have lighter area. I used to love rain and storm since it's cold before these roofs problems came out. Have a nice day

Sorry to hear that problem of your in your roof. I used to lived in an old house before that have that same problem. My landlady have it fixed but when strong rains come they would creep in again. After several attempts to seal it up it did not worked. I think it needs major repair to find the real problem.

@Letranknight2015 Yea a leaking roof is such a nuisance. Yes that was what the carpenter recommended for us which the landlady refused because its too much and was offering if we are willing to share in the expense. We refused so we contended having those dripping during the rainy days. Good thing we left that place already. It was good location that we did not experience flooding in that area but the rain still gets in when it is strong.

Hello @rsa101 It's not just a major repair but a complete renovation of the roof and it's support system. If i only had the funds I would have it all replaced.

I remember the bulb or outlet smoked before. Perhaps it needs silicone sealant.

@Letranknight2015 well anyway whatever it is you got to get it fixed right away, put it in your " to do" priority list, it's like a Sword of Damocles hanging over your head and could be an accident waiting to happen.

Hello @louievill that reminds me of that outlet smoked on one of our tenant's space but that's because the roof didn't have water proofing then.

@Letranknight2015 That is not good news. I can understand why you would not like the rain and storms because of the leaky roof.
