1895 - John Brallier becomes the first openly professional American football player when he was paid $10 to play for the Latrobe Athletic Association.
2016 - The United States and China, together responsible for 40% of the world's carbon emissions, ratify the Paris global climate agreement.
1965 - Charlie Sheen was born. He is an American actor and producer. Some of his movies: Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Red Dawn, Platoon, Wall Street, Major League, Hot Shots!, Men at Work, Due Date, Scary Movie 3, 4 and 5. Some of his TV work includes: Spin City, Anger Management and Two and a Half Men for which he was paid $1.8 million dollars per episode.
1986 - Shaun White - He is an American snowboarder, skateboarder and guitarist. He is a 3-time Olympic gold medalist. He holds the record for the most X-Games and Olympic gold medals by a snowboarder.

Bowling is nice. I haven't gone in a long time. I used to see the PBA ( Pro Bowler Association) on tv years ago with my parents. It was great!
Then the greedy network decided to take it off of the regular channel and move it to the network requiring a higher subscription fee per month.
What a rip off.

I used to belong to a league and had my own ball and shoes...but that was eons ago. Not sure I could bowl anymore. But it was fun. I was a lousy bowler!
