Today is U. S. Bowling League Day. The earliest forms of bowling date back to ancient Egypt. Wall drawings of the sport have been found in a royal Egyptian tomb dating back to 5200 B.C. Miniature pins and balls were found in an Egyptian child's grave dating back to approximately the same time. Bowling is a target sport; and there are several forms of the game including skittles, kegel and bocce. Bowling is played by 100 million people in more than 90 countries, 70 million of which are in the United States. Have you ever bowled? If so, what was your average? I bowled on a league and had a terrible average (below 100)!! Photo Credit: Pixabay

That's great to know about bowling! I used to play when I was younger (we'd have to in P.E.) but I don't remember my average!

I used to average 110 for some reason. Loved getting together with friends.
