Trouble In Paradise

And no, I'm not talking about ABC's summer reality show, Bachelor In Paradise. I'm talking about the little love nest of my brother's and his girlfriend. I have heard through the grapevine that the two girls have not been seen for a week. I was also told that "she" has not been sitting in the driveway for hours in her vehicle which is one of her odd habits. Another source told me that she, the girlfriend is back and forth. So there is trouble in paradise, folks. And yes, the theme song for the reality tv show is going over and over in my mind now. LOL {Applause} Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

Hope it works out for the good. He no longer has free money to give her.

Exactly, but he can't see that it is wrong taking his mother's money and giving it to the girlfriend.

@wolfgirl569 That is correct. And better than having her around and all her baggage. He is distraught without her according to his best friend and said that he just wants his family back--meaning the girlfriend and her five kids. Hello? Your mother is not your family? I don't claim him anymore so I don't matter.

@kareng But she isnt going to hang around without the money. So half the problem may soon be solved.

He is more worried about his girlfriend than his mother. All he is concerned with is not getting any money from mommy right now. It doesn't matter that she is sick and needs her money to pay her own doctor bills. It is time for him to grow up.

@RasmaSandra He needs to. I'm not going to play this game once my mother is gone. I have three daughters that need help every now and then and they are my priority, not a grown man that refuses to work for a living.

@marguicha And a big reality check. He may end up in jail. They have done things that others can press charges against them, so that would be one step in the right direction. Sit in jail and contemplate your past actions.

This sounds a lot like the story of my brother and his girlfriend. She wanted that he married her, she played the little game of I go and I come back, finally my brother got tired and it's over now.

That is good that he woke up and saw through her. I'm not sure that mine will.

@LadyDuck Same here, all the friends, and family warned him. He didn't listen at all. It's almost ten years later now.

She is another game player. I think once she realizes there is no more "free money" she will be gone in a flash.

He's blinded by this scam artist of a girlfriend. She has him brainwashed totally and will probably need professional help to see the light.

Has the free money dried up completely yet? I bet she'll be gone in a flash as soon as he can't give her free handouts anymore.

Yes, the banks have cut him off with his fake POA after I brought mom to both banks and had a talk. Next, I need to try to get the money back from the bank. They should not have just handed it over to him.

@moffittjc I agree. I have a friend who is insisting that they did wrong and should refund the money. I have greater concerns right now than going after the bank. So that is on the back burner right now.

@kareng I don't think they're going to voluntarily hand that money back over to you. The banks will make every excuse in the book as to why they shouldn't have to give the money back.
