I talked to a friend of mine this morning on Facebook & she was sharing with me how she was glad she was taught from an early age not to trust strangers. From what she said, when she was 14, a trucker tried to lure her into his rig, which set off alarm bells in her mind.
It's really terrible how many creepies & crazies there are in the world nowadays. I saw a show a while back about a trucker who was traveling around truck stops & picking up hitchers, and they were never seen again.

I did some stupid stuff as a teenager. Well alongside friends.. We gave a hitchhiker a ride home once, but he ended up being a pretty cool guy only a few years older than us. We hung out a few times. I would not have done it if I was alone.
I'm glad your friend didn't get into that trucker's rig.
