Slice of doughnut anyone?

Doughnut / Donut. Both are correct really.
But anyway the other night, my dad and I wanted to make these doughnut bites. I mixed all the ingredients together and once it was ready to go into the oven, we both realised we didn't have the correct baking tray for it.
So my dad just grabbed a normal flat baking tray and started to pour the mix onto it.
We couldn't roll the mix into balls because it wasn't thick.
I took a photo of it to show you the box for the mix and what it actually turned out like.
Hey, it still tasted nice! Was just the wrong shape is all.

@arunima25 I completely agree with you!
I wish I could give you some! But you're too far away.
Plus, it's all gone.

Oh my goodness, that is quite the donut! I'm sure you had fun eating that! Is there any left, or do you and your dad eat every last bite?

@moffittjc Had great fun eating it.
My dad couldn't eat much of it due to the diabetes and all. And my brother didn't really like it. So I had the job of eating the majority. Oh poor me!

So why shouldn't you have a 'doughnut cake'? The only thing is that it will take longer to bake than if you had it in small balls but it'll be fine as long as you allow for that! You could even carefully cut it in half horizontally with a long, sharp knife (I find that a carving knife cuts bread very well) and fill it with raspberry jam.

@owlwings Actually amazingly enough, it took the same amount of time to bake. The jam idea is a good one! Can't really try it as there is none left. Someone ate the rest of it. *points to myself smiling*

@owlwings I did a giggle while reading this. I'm not even ashamed. Someone had to eat it! And that proud someone was me.

I have never had a donut/doughnut but the thing you did with the tray is called 'jugaad' here. (Jugaad meaning "a flexible approach to problem-solving that uses limited resources in an innovative way.")

It's a customized doughnut for you bake it by yourself. If I see one from a commercial store or mall especially those branded donuts, I just take a bite for they're too sweet.

@ladyhero Nah the batter wasn't thick enough to roll into balls so my dad just poured it all onto the tray and it came out like that.
