My depression is becoming worse. Last week I went to the dentist and since then I don't feel taste. My tongue is burned, inflamed, red, I don't feel any taste. My mouth is very dry. I have problem after problem. They never stop. I think I am allergic to the metal from crowns. I spent a lot of money on those crowns. And now I have these symptoms. My favorite cat disappeared, I have financial problems, my parents criticize me a lot. My father blames me all the time. I don't have freedom or independence. I don't have friends. I don't think pills can make these problems disappear, but I will try to take them. What helps you when you are depressed?

Oh my goodness Diana, I am so sorry. What did the dentist do to cause this problem? I know how hard it is for you the fact that the cat disappeared. I would not give up hope, may be that the cat will come back. Do you know someone with whom you can spend a bit of time talking?

Talking to friends, other family and coming here helps a lot, others will give good advice. Pills I don’t think make things better, the criticism doesn’t help, I want things to get better for you.

So sorry that you are facing such problems. That can get anyone depressed. First of all, you should find out what the dentist did to your mouth and I am sorry your cat disappeared. The best for me is my faith and when things go really bad I look toward the Lord for help. If things are getting me down I like to listen to my favorite music or watch some favorite shows to get my mind off of my problems if I can. I know it can be hard so I hope you find a way to cope, your cat comes back, and you can find someone you can talk to. Virtual hugs.

I try to discuss with close ones....I know in your situation its a mixture of finance+worries+incidents....I believe your worries are true but pills won't be a solution

I would like to be in contact with you, I "friended" you so I can send you private messages. Please, PLEASE, PLEASE respond I am extremely worried about you!!! Your dentist should be doing more for you than he is, especially since your tongue is burned and inflamed and you have no sense of taste and your mouth is dry. You need someone there to care. Your parents don't sound like they are helping much which isn't right at all...Please please please respond, I am really becoming frantic about your safety...I'm begging you to please respond!

As you know, there are different levels of depression. Mine is manageable and I don't need any medication.

I try to think of the day when none of the troubles will matter, but I do not know the hour of that time.

sorry to hear that lots of problems together but depression will drag you in more critical situation. Its tough time for you as you only know how pressure you feeling at the moment but we both know nothings permanent so sure there is a way of it and i am sure you will come out of it. God is great and taking or chanting god name is give you some relief. I will pray to god that everything will fine soon.

You need a real friend that can relate. It sucks when no one understands and not even you own parents. I am dealing with depression and tv shows have helped me alot. Music is my escape from reality.
