Are You Superstitious?

A funny thing happened on Friday afternoon. Babysitting my best friend's little 7 year old boy, I noticed that he had a rainbow umbrella with him, in case it rained. Being a bit of a kid inside, I decided I wanted to open it up and spin it around. I did exactly that, and in my own apartment. The little boy nearly hit the ceiling about how we're not supposed to open an umbrella indoors, because it'll bring bad luck. Oh really? I've heard it, I've done it, and that's never happened. I also reminded him that there are people out there who think that black cats are bad luck, but I don't believe that either; this while he cradled my jet black cat, not a mark of another colour on him, on his lap. The young man realized that if my bad cat can't bring bad luck, how can an indoor umbrella? #13 doesn't scare me either, nor does accidentally breaking a mirror, and when my bill at the cafe came to $6.66, I laughed while the lady behind me wanted to raint.
Are you superstitious?

Good! Superstitions are pointless, and when told to small children, can scare them.

I'm not superstitious at all. I think the one about an open umbrella in the house was just because it's rather dangerous, not because of luck.
