Back To School Starts It Every Year - Stop The Snot

I know many are against the shot but I`m against the sickness, snot, pain, money loss and loss days of work.. While paying my water bill I seen a sign "Free Flu shot" with the date and time. That is today. The flu shot costs me $25 plus a doctor visit payment, Or If I am lucky I catch the clinic open at the health department and get one for $5. Free is better. By beginning to give the flu shots as school starts is an effort to stop the spread. I once heard a mother say " From the day school started my kid has green snot pouring from him, WTH?" I will stand in line to stop the snot and save myself from the pain and misery of sickness.
Movie: Léon: The Professional (1994) Song: Unstoppable - Sia Synopsis: Mathilda (Natalie Portman) is only 12 years old, but is already familiar with the dark...

Good for you. I'm up on all my shots (including 2 shingles shots) except for the flu shot. That will be next. No green snot here, thank you!

It hits me hard, I usually end up at the hospital because I can`t breathe, I have controlled without medication asthma, I wanna keep it that way.

I'd prefer the shot over the illness as well! So that's great to get it free!

This is what I tell people. I KNOW what the flu feels like, and I can name to you all the times I have had it, because it was that memorable/miserable. I will take the shot.

We've had our flu shots for this year. Vince is in bed with a cold but hopefully it won't develop into anything worse than what it is.

@andriaperry Thanks for the tip. He's had pneumonia twice and we've both now been immunised against it so hopefully he'll be okay. He is up now and seems a bit better.

What we have to watch out for is pneumonia when we think we are well. make him get up daily and move around, that is prevention.

I donĀ“t like to have a flu shot even if it is free. My hubby got one flu shot and after that, he got the flu.

You can`t catch the flu from the shot, only from the live germs.

@andriaperry I know. What I mean to say was that he became sensitive and really had a flu.

Many of the pharmacies give the shot but not sure it is free. My insurance pays it. Almost time for it too.

I don`t have any insurance, I could not manage to pay $4,200 a year for health. I save and pay cash.

@andriaperry I know, I just thought some of the pharmacies may give it for free.

I will get mine in a couple of weeks, as well as my second type of pneumonia shot. Medicare pays for it. Yes, the kids are either running from the nose or out the other end already and we are being urged to wash hands really often.
