I watched Vacancy the other day

I don't watch much television. Anyone who hangs around my discussions knows this. I just don't. Well, a few days ago I watched the movie Vacancy. I was in the mood to watch television and scrolled through Vudu's free movies. Vacancy was an okay movie, but honestly? I was glad it was short. A married couple are making their way back home after visiting the wife's parents. The two aren't on the best of terms, and are getting a divorce after a tragedy pushes them apart instead of closer together. I don't want to give too much away because it's such a short movie. It was made in 2007. The couple end up in a motel and find a series of tapes that they soon realize are home movies made in the very room that they are occupying. I will be consuming more thrillers / scary shows as the season progresses.

I have seen this movie a few times....and there is a Vacancy 2 as well. I thought they were both good, but I like watching all those kind of movies.

I thought I've heard of a 2nd Vacancy movie. I don't know, I liked this one sort of, but it was also too predictable for me.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I don't remember if I thought the 2nd was better, I should re-watch them. Oh yeah, I can understand them being predictable. Watching so many thriller/suspense/horror films they all seem predictable to me lol

@MommyOfEli2013 I love watching thrillers or reading thriller books this time of year. So Yeah, they all become a bit predictable but still enjoyable to watch all the same. I will see if I get Vacancy 2 for free.

It reminds me more of some horror.

I didn't think it was all that scary, but maybe because I found it predictable.
