Seventeen Years Later

I wrote this one a year ago... C.C.O image on Pixabay! Seventeen years Later and The pains Still Palpable! Everyone old Enough to remember That September day Remember where They were the day Our nation Was shook To it’s very core! We cried countless Tears that day And seventeen years later Those tears Still linger As we remember A perceived Innocence Lost. (C) Michelle R Kidwell September.10.2018 10:35 P.M P.S.T

46 years ago a dictador, Pinochet, took over the government. I understand about innocence lost. It has never been the same.

Now it's the 18th when God cried for America.
