My sister-law did something nice today. It’s not often that she does something solo with any of my kids but she asked me a few week back if she could take my 4 year old and take him on a play date with some of her mom friends that have little ones the same age. Both of the 3-4 year olds I do know a bit about and have meet. In the end it was my bug with a little girl playing for a few hours. I got a report back that he was nice and shared. He didn’t get upset or made when the little girl, (I know the parents from school and scounts) took blocks from my son. He wasn’t even phased which is good thing. I tell my kids all of the time we are nice to others and treat them the way you want or be treated even if they are not being nice. So for a few hours it was just me and my husband. We went to the store for milk, then got some lunch and we both took a nap. Apparently my 4 year old thought me and his daddy where being naughty while he was gone. Nope sorry buddy we where just out of the house.

That was really nice of her. It's always nice when you can spend one on one time with your kids.

Glad the play date went well. Hopefully, more will come out of it. It's always nice to have some free time away from the kids.

@ShyBear88 That's good. Social skills are gained through play dates.

it is really important that parents always remind their kids to behave well with others. am sure they will grow up as nice people.

He’s the 3rd child and understand I don’t expect him to be perfect but he is told often enough to share and be nice when sharing. I know the other little girl has one sibling that has special needs so her behavior doesn’t surprise me she is only acting as what she see her older siblings do.
