Is this too girly for a man?

Long story short, I found this picture while scrolling through Facebook. I showed it to my dad's girlfriend and she was joking how she'd love my dad to do something like that for her. We were all just having a friendly debate about it. But I really did wonder, if a woman set up a bath this way to surprise her partner, would the man think it's too girly or would he see it as romantic? Possibly even relaxing? I know it depends on the man and the situation etc but what do you think overall? Do you think this sort of set up is too girly for a man even if the woman is with him sharing the experience?

I am not a romantic. I would find it irritating those petals sticking to you and getting in places petals should never venture! But take no notice of me. Sorry to be a party pooper but I am sure it is lovely for a lady to pamper herself. It is just not a blokey thing!

@garymarsh6 My niece loved to place candles around the bath tub, until the day she got burnt getting out from the tub, no more candles.

@LadyDuck I remember they put some on our bed in Thailand. What a blooming mess and a pain to clear up! OK it looks pretty but it is not practical. I thought I was just a misery guts but in reality it is more irritating to me!

I know that my husband would not like at all, especially the rose petals, but also all those candles. To be honest I also do not like, soft light is fine, the Champagne is better in another place, the humidity of the bath is going to spoil it.

@VivaLaDani13 I would surely not like to see a bug floating in the water where I have to bath.

@LadyDuck That is a good point! I wouldn't like the rose petals. I like the candles though. I almost always have a candle or two when I have a bath. But the petal thing, no thank you. Not fond of things that stick to me. Knowing me I'd probably forget and think it was bugs or something lol

@VivaLaDani13 It's going to be a tight squeeze for the two of us to fit in there together, but that's okay, it forces us to be intimate, which I guess is the whole point of the romantic bath!

A romantic might like it, but an average male would probably see this as ridiculous. Myself, I would think it's a silly setup.

@kobesbuddy I agree. Someone romantic may like it more than the average male. Or at least, an average male may not mind if his partner was there. Depends on a few things I think.

Dany - I am an extremely practical woman. I would think how much cleaning afterwards, and what if that organic waste goes into the drains and creates mucky smell. Or the candles lead to fire...which I have obviously not learned the art of controlling. Those who like it like that have been told it is romantic by books I feel. Romance has no external expression I feel. Either you are in romantic mood, or you are not. External stuff is not gonna help. It will only give satisfaction that well, somebody took pains to do this for me, let me be grateful for it. So I would act. Geee that sure is weird. And I am strictly strictly against wasting flowers.

@vandana7 You raise some good points. Really depends on the people involved I think and what they like and don't like during and after. ( cleaning etc ) Thank you for your answer!

I'm a man, I don't think this pleasure is supposed to be for only women or only men. The atmosphere is relaxing, romantic, I would love to have a bath like that with my girlfriend.

@VivaLaDani13 I like giving her massages, playing with her hair (brushing her hair gently with my fingers, brushing her head on the way), giving her pleasure by caressing her with my finger tips and nails slowly across her spine, her arms, her waists, making her duck skin (her hair stands up across her arms and she smiles ). She loves putting her head on my lap so I play with her hair, licking and nibbling her ear gently, telling her stories, singing to her...

@CarolDM lol yes it's been pretty entertaining! I think at the end of the day it really does depend on the man and the situation. Besides the petals in the bath, I love the look of all of it. I wouldn't mind petals around the bath but just not in it.

Baby, your brain is very shape if am to say. I know your asking in terms of generality for man. But I guess, when their is much love in between partners, nothing will be girly nor guyly :-D love blinds everything, so love is much important, indeed. But contrary, it might not be girly for most man because its only flower...

@VivaLaDani13 :-) (:-D) Sorry if it might offend you, as I never meant to ( :-D)...you looked like a baby to me that's why I addressed you as baby... :+) OK cool dear. Meanwhile,i have not read where you told me to stop before...so as you can see, its a repeated action. But stopped right now :-) OK let me tell you, some men are funny type, so will play with the flowers.
