Hello !
Phew. I got home a little before 10 a.m. PST I think. It's a little after eleven a.m. now.
I took a Lyft to the Health Center, and had to "sign in" at the Lab--as it was a "first come, first serve" kind of deal.
It took less than ten minutes, I think for them to call me. I was surprised that they only took blood, as I remember at least four or five things on the paper that my primary care provider gave me when I saw her, but maybe that's all the things they needed to look for in my blood.
Anyway, I got done with that, and went to the bus stop outside the center. It came in about five minutes, and I stopped at the bank to deposit a check. As I was walking to the bus stop at the next shopping center, I happened to be looking in my purse and saw that I had another check I could have deposited.
So, since it was one of those "expires after 90 days" ones, I turned around and walked the block and a half back to the bank, and deposited that check. After that I headed back to the bus stop at the other shopping center.
Of course, I had just missed the bus I needed, but it was coming again in less than half an hour, so I went to the grocery store to see if I could pick up something that I had forgotten to buy the last time I ordered groceries on line.
I couldn't find it, but I got a discounted box of granola bars in their discount corner, and ate one when I got back to the bus stop, as I had had to "fast" (not eat anything since 8 p.m. last night) for the blood draw I had.
I took the bus to the last stop, then walked the last few blocks home. A couple of minutes after I got in, I took Angel for a walk that I hadn't been able to before I left.
Like I said to the lady at the bank when I went back the second time, at least I got more steps on my step counter.
Currently I have 7,468--and it's not even noon.
I may make 10,000 for the first time in a while.
Right now I need to go and do a chore of some kind, and then have lunch.
Hope your day/evening/etc. has gone well so far in your part of myLot land !

You mean you didn't have to pee in a pill bottle? Lucky you.
I hope the blood tests don't turn up anything untoward.
