Where Did We First Meet?

Well, you could write @porwest but not a lot of lotters want to read long discussions, I know I don't.

@rebelann That's a large part of the reason why I don't do it here.

I have had a love for writing as far back as eight. I wrote much more fiction early on. These days it's relegated to sites like this and blogging. But I still love it even if I what I do here is probably a far cry from actual 'writing.'

@porwest I have hundreds of posts on Infobarrel too. I always liked it there until myLot came along.

@JudyEv Infobarrel is a site I have heard of, but I don't think I have ever actually looked at the site. For sure I never wrote there. Do they still pay?

Yeah, even for me, HubPages is a site I have no written on for years. It still provides some residual income, but I have provided nothing new there in quite some time.

@porwest I did too. :) Since then no other sites. Wish I knew about Bubblews ~ did not know about it until after it closed.

WebAnswers was a lot of fun, and quite lucrative, while it was around. I spent quite a lot of time there.

@infatuatedbby It was a great site, and you could make LOTS of money there. But that was part of the problem. There were actually a couple of people there who swore that Bubblews was the next best thing to a job. You COULD make thousands of dollars a year over there. But it was unsustainable and anyone with half a brain KNEW the thing was farfetched and the site had it very wrong as to what was a realistic model and payout. We wrote there because WHY NOT cash in on it if they were wiling to pay the exorbitant amounts. But when the thing came crashing down, any of us who had that half a brain were not at all surprised it could not work. We get paid FAR LESS here. BUT, I think the admin has the right model, and I will take smaller payouts to keep it going for as long as it can go on any day of the week over a huge payout that cannot last at all.

You may be right. Although there is something very familiar about you, so I am not exactly sure.

@porwest maybe we crossed paths on Bubblews ?

Yeah. Not sure if I remember you from Bubblews, but I certainly am aware of you here. Not to say if I did encounter you at Bubblews that you were not memorable.

Glad to have met you as well. MyLot is quickly becoming a favorite of all the sites I have been on so far.

Yeah. I do think I do in fact remember you from Bubblews.

If it you were on Bubblews, considering how active I was there, we probably ran into each other a time or two.
